Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Live within approximately 10 minutes of Parsippany, NJ
- Have a reliable vehicle
- Have a smartphone with internet access
- Able to walk several miles per day
- Enjoy all the seasons in NJ (snow, heat, rain and mud)
- Experience with pets (personal or professional)
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes
- Job needed for part time/supplemental income
- Year-round availability, weekday availability, and some weekend availability
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to provide a professional reference
Dog Walking & Pet Visits

A Note About This Role
This is not seasonal or short-term work.
Our clients rely on us consistently, and we take that responsibility seriously. Reliability and consistency are the foundation of everything we do.
We are always on the lookout for mature, high-energy, dedicated part time dog walkers and pet sitters to join our team. Experience with pets is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate, as long as you love pets! If hired, you will be protected under our liability insurance and workers compensation policies. We pay a competitive hourly rate, plus drive time, and we also reimburse for mileage. Weekend work is compensated with bonus pay. We also provide paid-for on-going training and education in pet care. The work schedule offers flexibility, however in return, we ask that you take this job seriously.
We look to hire individuals who can work ALL or SOME of the following shifts.
Dog walkers: Monday-Friday 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
In addition to the weekday afternoon shift, we look for employees who can also cover an occasional morning, evening or weekend shift.
Punctuality is extremely important in this line of work. You must be able to self-manage your day and get to appointments within a specified window of time. Communication is also very important; please demonstrate in an email or cover letter your ability to write clearly, creatively and correctly.
Great opportunity for moms with children in school, retired individuals, local college students with flexible schedules or online college students, or individuals with night jobs looking for supplemental income.
